Comment: The pretty brocade fabric upholstering this set of 6 antique French Renaissance Hunting chairs will bring a touch of spring in to your traditional dining room. The set of 6 Renaissance dining chairs from France carved in the Hunting style dates to 1880. Crafted in oak wood for sturdiness, the chairs are upholstered in a pink, blue and beige brocade fabric which has a classic floral and foliage design. The fabric is perfectly complemented by the oak wood frames, and the carved detail in the frame make these chairs a beautifully decorative addition to any home. The pierced crest rail depicts carved foliage that drapes over the upholstered back, framed with barley twist chair posts for extra textural and visual interest. The chair posts are topped with a block carved with a flower and a simple finial. The twists and floral blocks repeat on the chair legs and stretchers. These armless dining chairs also stand on casters so they are easy to move around. This splendid set of 6 antique oak French Hunting style dining chairs look as enchanting today as they did when they were crafted for an elegant family in France more than 140 years ago.
