Comment: The endearing faces carved on the crest rails of this set of 8 antique French Renaissance dining chairs will create a warm and friendly atmosphere in your dining room. The eight antique Renaissance dining chairs from France date to 1900 and they are handsomely crafted in solid walnut wood. Each chair boasts a carved face on top of the chair rail, looking out benevolently over the diners at your family gathering or dinner party. The seat backs are framed by nicely shaped posts and the chairs also boast serpentine X-shaped stretchers joining the legs, accented in the center with a small finial. The chairs are upholstered with the original leather on the chair backs and vinyl on the seats. The brown leather and vinyl upholstery is enhanced by the bold rosette shaped nailhead trim. Sure to add a touch of grandeur to your dining room, the set of 8 antique Renaissance dining chairs are armless and they would also serve nicely as side chairs in a living room, hallway, library or bedroom. The unusual design on this set of eight antique French dining chairs in the Renaissance style is bound to make a wonderful first impression!
