Outdoor Decor

We offer a beautiful selection of new and antique architectural and garden accessories, so you can enjoy decorating every inch of your home, inside and out.

Our antique Chinese screens, panels, window shutters and doors are wonderful for creating architectural interest in your space. You can use them for their original purpose or hang them on a wall or use them as room dividers or in other clever ways that enhance your space. We import these antique doors and shutters from China and sometimes rescue them from buildings due to be demolished. They mainly date to the Late Qing Dynasty period around 1900, so they are more than a century old, and they boast the most exquisite  Chinese folk art carvings. Some are very intricate scenes, such as peacocks, trees, lotus and flower blossoms, butterflies, fish and scrolling clouds. The motifs all have symbolic meanings to wish blessings and good fortune on the home and the owner.

Others designs are more geometric in nature. Either way, antique shutters are highly decorative with a lot of textural appeal due to the carved wood, which is often pine, elm or fir. As a focal point, they are hard to beat and as a unique architectural element, they are always a conversation starter!

If you have a fireplace, you will also want to browse our handsome traditional fire surrounds and fire mantles, which are antique-inspired and crafted by contemporary furniture makers.

To make your garden as gorgeous as the inside of your home, choose from our selection  of delightful seating including hand-painted ceramic stools that also double as occasional  tables when you are hanging out on the deck or the porch.  Decorative contemporary garden planters will also dress up your outside area and we have sets of three in different sizes so you can have a cohesive design scheme. Place a pair of sturdy metal planters either side of your front door to add curb appeal.
