If you're looking for a slim but heavily carved buffet to fit into a narrow space in your dining room, this incredible antique Flemish buffet carved in the Renaissance style is an outstanding choice you will enjoy it for years! At just over 40 inches wide, the oak antique Renaissance buffet dating to 1890 packs a lot of beauty into a small space. Lavish carvings in the beautifully aged oak cover the front of the buffet, including four lion heads with brass tone rings through their noses they make a great talking point at your dinner parties. Trailing leafy vines, apples, pears and plump bunches of grapes frame the front of the buffet, and the arched glass door is also accented by intricate carvings. The handsome geometric design like a maze or labyrinth on the lower cabinet door is typical of the classic Renaissance style of furniture and it creates a wonderful visual focal point in your room. In the center of the maze you'll spy another carved head of a wild beast, and above that panel two large fish swim amidst more swirling carvings. You will love gazing at this antique Flemish Renaissance buffet as much as you'll love the practical storage space it provides!
