The antique server was crafted in around 1900 and it is a direct import from France. The oak server or sideboard offers a full 77 inches in height of gorgeous carvings, including flowers, leaves and ribbons on the lower door panels. The French Renaissance server is topped with a handsomely shaped carving that evokes a coat of arms shield and decorative carvings all across the top of the server will make this piece really stand out in your Renaissance style dining room. Bulbous fluted posts support the upper part of the server and nice decorative metal handles and lock plates add the authentic finishing touches to this fine antique server. A pierced oak plate rack gives you the chance to show off your favorite vintage china. This antique French Louis XVI server or sideboard will be a delight in any home.
Condition of this Antique and Vintage Server
Used - Good
Shows normal wear to the finish and miscellaneous nicks, dings, and scratches due to age and use. There is a slight outline of where plates were once placed on the plate rack due to light exposure. There is a piece of trim missing at the top of the right side that could be restored prior to shipping, if requested.
