The antique oak buffet in the Renaissance style dates to 1900 and it was handcrafted in Belgium. This carved oak buffet server boasts bold carvings in the Renaissance style including the face of wild forest animals or mythical beasts peering out from the top of the buffet and from the two side posts. These magical creatures will keep guard over your dinner party to make sure everyone is having a wonderful time! The center cupboard of the upper hutch features a beveled glass door so you can display your favorite serving dishes or collectibles. A gallery of carved spindles surround the upper shelf and the plate rack. You will find plenty of storage space inside the Flemish buffet as well as ample service space. Nicely carved posts add to the decorative effect of this very nice antique Renaissance buffet. The interior is nicely lined in green velvet, which could be removed if desired.

Item Specifics: Shows normal wear to the finish and miscellaneous nicks, dings, and scratches due to age and use. The small gap in the trim at the top left front corner will be restored prior to shipping. There is minor damage to the trim on the front right door at the bottom and wood separation on the top surface from age.
