This unusual vintage Renaissance castle arm chair or throne will make a very grand impression in your dining room or used as a fireside chair. The vintage arm chair from Spain dates to about 1950 and it is crafted in mahogany wood with stunning embossed leather on the seat and chair back. The embossed leather is adorned with a design of castles and lions, evoking the regal heraldic crests of noble European families. The chair rail rises to a beautiful carved arch and the chunky arms and legs and stretchers are also very decoratively carved with scroll shapes. Nail head trim around the leather upholstery adds to the sense of majesty on this fine Renaissance style arm chair. The chair measures 51 inches in height with a seat height of 17.5 inches and it stands on claw feet. Perfect for a Renaissance dining room or a rustic mountain lodge, this Renaissance style arm chair will also look terrific in a large baronial hall style foyer.
