Comment: This stunning antique buffet in the Flemish Mechelen style is crafted in oak wood and it features beautiful stained glass doors. Dating to 1890, the oak buffet or server from Belgium boasts superb carvings and the design is typical of the Mechelen style, which was a Belgian interpretation of the French Hunting style. The red and green stained glass doors on the upper hutch feature a decorative floral design that is also a great look in a Renaissance style dining room. The high-quality carvings on both the upper and lower cabinets of this buffet are delightfully enhanced by the beautifully mellow patina of the naturally aged oak wood. This terrific antique Mechelen sideboard or buffet is direct imported from Europe and it would make a handsome complement to your traditional dining room. The antique Mechelen buffet is more than 91 inches high and just over 55 inches wide, offering plenty of storage space for your serving items and display space for serving dishes on the counter top when you are entertaining.
