Comment: The carved cornucopias, or horns of plenty, carved on the lower doors of this excellent antique French Renaissance buffet will bring an elegant sense of abundance into your dining room or great room. The antique buffet or server sideboard is exquisitely carved in oak wood and it dates to around the year 1900, crafted in the Renaissance style by the French craftsmen. The buffet is also covered with pretty leafy flourishes and topped with a handsome cornice over the center hutch. The center top cabinet boasts a glass door so you can display your heirloom ceramics and favorite serving dishes. A plate rack adorned with a gallery of turned spindles provides space to display some attractive platters and the counter is the perfect surface for your buffet dishes or your wine and cheese. Three drawers add to the storage options on this fine antique French Renaissance buffet, which is sure to live up to the festive spirit of the cornucopia carvings when you entertain family and friends.
