This noble set of 6 antique French dining chairs in the Renaissance Henry II style shows the patina of age on the walnut wood frames. This is the kind of finish that you cannot buy off-the-peg! The dining chairs date to around 1890 so they have certainly earned their patina! The six chairs are crafted with the classic Renaissance Henry II silhouette, including the carved spindles along the chair back. The gallery of spindles creates an open look to these elegant chairs. The chairs are upholstered with embossed brown leather on the chair seat and back. The brown leather upholstery is accented by nailhead trim, including some attractive rosette shaped nailheads, and the nailheads add to the traditional allure of these high-quality antique French dining chairs. The armless chairs can also be used as side chairs in other rooms of the house, including the guest bedroom, hallway and home office. Wherever you use this set of six Henry II antique French dining chairs, they will bring a very regal appeal to your home!
