The Beauty of this rug is in the workmanship of the Dyers. Camp Cane Creek has large squares of unleveled dyed cotton. The color placement in the squares, is random, but the colors are consistent in each rug.. Therefore, different sizes of HC717 Camp Cane Creek rug will have all the same colors, but the squares may vary a little in color sequences. Rich Browns, Pale Yellows, Faded Violets, Pale Blues, Sage Greens, Sky Blues, Sea Blues, Corals, Navies, Blush Pinks, Taupes, Roses, and Golds; all these beautiful colors are in HC717 Camp Cane Creek. In each Square is a block of unleveled color. Around each block if colors are single lines of colors, that are L shaped. The Ls start around the Blocks of color and grow out to the edge of each square. A Chocolate Brown border surrounds the rug. Camp Cane Creek has an Early American feel to it, yet can be contemporary. Traditional Hooked rugs are truly an art form. They are made by taking old fabrics and cutting them into narrow strips. Burlap(often recycled food sacks) was used as the foundation. A needle with a hook on it pushed through from the top of the rug, and the fabric was then drawn to the surface. Thus hooked rugs are often called drawn-in-rugs. The rugs in our Camp Collection are made exactly the same way, one loop at a time. In our attemp to be green, we use environmentally correct recycled fabrics, where ever possible
